Refund policy

1. Service & Labor Policy

At D'Legacy Zone, we provide professional labor and custom installations.

  • Labor: Fees for labor and services performed are non-refundable once the work has been completed.

  • Consultation/Diagnostic Fees: The $85 diagnostic fee is non-refundable but will be credited toward repairs exceeding $80 if performed during the same visit.

2. Cancellation of Services
  • Small Repairs: You may cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a $40 late-cancellation fee.

  • Large Projects (Sod, Masonry, Full Installs, Artificial Turf): These projects require significant scheduling and material procurement. You may cancel these projects up to 7 days before the scheduled start date for a full refund of your deposit.

  • Late Cancellations: Deposits for large projects are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the start date, as materials have already been ordered and scheduling slots committed.

3. Non-Returnable Items & "Live Goods"

Certain items are strictly ineligible for returns or refunds:

  • Sod & Live Plants: Because sod and plants are living products that deteriorate rapidly without proper care, we do not offer returns, refunds, or warranties on sod or plants once they have been installed. Their survival is the sole responsibility of the client’s watering and maintenance.

  • Custom Masonry & Concrete: Once concrete is poured or stone is set to your specifications, it cannot be "returned."

  • Personalized/Custom Orders: Any materials ordered specifically for your project (specialty stone, custom turf colors) are non-returnable.

4. Limited Warranty

While we do not offer refunds on completed work, we stand by our quality:

  • Irrigation Repairs: 90-day warranty on workmanship.

  • Hardscaping/Turf: 1-year limited installation warranty.

  • Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by external factors (mowers, pets, freezing, or "Acts of God").

5. Service Refusal & Repair Limitations
  • Right to Refuse Service: D’Legacy Zone reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason we see fit, including but not limited to safety concerns or project scope.

  • Irrigation Repair Limit: To ensure timely service for our local neighbors, irrigation repair services are strictly limited to a 25-mile radius from North Richland Hills, TX.

  • Large Projects: Installation projects (such as Artificial Turf, Putting Greens, Masonry, and Full Landscaping) are not subject to the 25-mile limit and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis regardless of distance.

  • Refunds on Refusal: If D’Legacy Zone exercises the right to refuse service after a deposit has been made, a full refund will be issued within 10 business days, provided no site visits have been conducted and no materials have already been purchased.

  • Material Reimbursement: If a project is cancelled (by either party) after specialized materials (sod, stone, custom turf) have been ordered or delivered, the cost of these materials and any restocking fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any returned deposit.

  • Remote Consultations: At our discretion, we may offer or require consultations via video call (Zoom, FaceTime, or Google Meet). By participating, the client agrees to this format for project assessments and agrees to the privacy terms associated with these platforms.

6. Contact Us

To exercise a cancellation or discuss a warranty claim, you must inform us via a clear statement:
